Class Etiquette at Renú Hot Yoga

We’re so happy to have you here. At Renú, we’re all about cultivating a loving, welcoming, and mindful space for everyone to move, breathe, and grow. To help us hold that space for our community, please take a moment to read through our studio etiquette guidelines:

Before Class

  • Arrive a Little Early
Aim to arrive 10–15 minutes before class starts so you have plenty of time to check in, set up, and ground yourself. To respect others practice, doors lock right at class time and no late entry will be permitted.

  • Check In at the Front Desk
Even if you’re a regular, please swing by the desk to make sure you’re checked in. If you’re on the waitlist, check with a team member before heading into class.

  • Hydrate & Fuel Up
Stay hydrated throughout the day and make sure you’ve had a light snack if needed — yoga is better when your body is supported!

  • Shoes Off, Please
No shoes in the studio room. This helps us keep the space clean and energetically grounded.

  • Silence Phones & Smart Devices
Phones and smartwatches should be silenced and stowed away before entering class. We encourage full presence, and this helps everyone stay in the zone.

In the Studio

  • Let the Space Be Quiet & Calm
Once you’re in the practice room, we invite you to settle into silence or soft whispers. This helps everyone drop in more deeply.

  • Set Up With Awareness
Lay your mat down mindfully, leaving enough space for those around you. Our classes can get full, and your awareness helps make space for all.

  • Bring Only What You Need
Please keep the studio room clear by storing extra items in the lobby or locker area. Water bottles, towels, and props are welcome; bags and personal items should stay outside the practice space.

  • Clean Up Props After Class
If you use yoga blocks or Pilates balls, please wipe them down with the provided spray and cloths before returning them neatly to the shelves.

After Class

  • Stay Through Savasana (if you can!)
We highly encourage staying for the full class, including savasana. If you absolutely need to leave early, please do so quietly before the final rest begins.

  • Exit with Care
As you pack up and exit, do so mindfully to maintain the peaceful vibe for those still in the room.

  • Kindness Always
We’re a community built on respect, compassion, and good vibes. Please treat your fellow students, instructors, and the space with love and care.
